Category B licence
Your category B driving licence must have been issued in Finland or another EU/EEA country at least one year before you apply.
Group 2 driving health

No driving ban
You must not be subject to a driving ban. Health and driving-right conditions must continue to be met while the taxi licence is valid.

Apply for the taxi driving licence

Know the difference
Taxi driving licence or taxi transport licence?
These permits serve different purposes. A driver’s right to drive passengers is not the same as a business’s right to provide commercial taxi transport.
Taxi driving licence
This personal licence is required to work as a taxi driver. It is issued by Traficom after you meet the driver requirements and pass the taxi-driver examination.
Taxi transport licence
