What changes, and when?

Medical report with the licence application

A taxi driving-licence application must include a medical report, no more than six months old, confirming Group 2 fitness-to-drive requirements, unless an acceptable report was already submitted during the previous six months.

21 hours of training for new drivers

A new taxi driver must complete 21 hours of mandatory training before taking the taxi-driver examination.

Seven hours of further training

During the transition period, renewing a taxi driving licence requires seven hours of further training under Traficom's conditions.
