Taxi Driver Exam

Taxi Entrepreneurship Exam
Prepare for the taxi entrepreneurship examination across the ten assessed business and legislation areas with category practice and 50-question mock examinations.
Purchasing Taxi Driver Exam access does not unlock Taxi Entrepreneurship Exam premium content, and purchasing entrepreneurship access does not unlock Taxi Driver Exam premium content. Every learner retains the free preview for the other course.
Current examination
Taxi Akatemia now follows the 60-question examination with five assessed sections, including driver rights and duties. Your practice, lessons and mock examinations use this format automatically.
The examination contains 60 multiple-choice questions, has a maximum duration of 45 minutes and applies section-specific pass requirements.
New drivers must complete 21 hours of approved training before taking the examination from 1 November 2026.
Traficom competence framework
Traficom’s current examination regulation groups the assessed competence into two broad subject areas. Taxi Akatemia organizes its independent preparation material around these areas and the practical knowledge behind them.
Core area 1
Prepare for the rules, responsibilities and practical decisions involved in transporting passengers safely and professionally.
Core area 2
Learn to recognise different assistance needs and provide safe, respectful service to children, older passengers and people with disabilities.

Taxi entrepreneurship curriculum
The separate entrepreneurship course follows ten assessed subject areas and a weighted 50-question mock format. Practice questions are independent preparation material, not official examination questions, and the service does not invent an official pass threshold.
