Can I take Finland’s taxi-driver exam in English?
Not currently under Traficom’s group examination model. The official taxi-driver examination is taken in Finnish or Swedish. You can use English in Taxi Akatemia to understand the content and learn the terminology for your chosen official exam language.
Can I prepare for the Finnish taxi exam in English?
Yes. English can be your main study or support language. You can compare it with Finnish or Swedish lesson content and gradually reduce the English support as your exam-language confidence improves.
Can I switch study languages during the course?
Yes. You can change your primary and support languages as your needs change, for example starting with English support and moving toward Finnish-only or Swedish-only study.
Is the multilingual content a word-for-word translation?
The content is aligned by meaning and terminology. The goal is clear understanding of the same taxi-driver concept across languages, rather than an awkward literal translation.
